Eero enjoys spending time with his family of three generations. An important family member is the Labrador, who keeps Eero and his wife on the move. Eero also enjoys playing golf and boating.

Sami is our director of sales. Sami has an educational and professional background in business and sales, and he is experienced in various expert and leadership positions in the sales and marketing field. Sami has previously done both domestic and international volume and project-based sales, and has successfully managed a wide range of customer accounts.
Sami has always spent plenty of time at sea and in the archipelago. A family farm in Somero is a nice counter-balance for office work. Sami recently finished building a greenhouse at his Turku home, and intends on starting micro-scale local food production. Sports of various kinds are important pastimes for Sami.

Paula is the Director of Q Power’s communications and public relations. Paula’s background is in marketing, communications, and customer-oriented business development, so it’s no surprise that her heart beats for people and creating customer value. In her work, Paula strives to bring out the benefits of Q Power’s top-of-class technology and the excellence of the Q Power professionals. Q Power has a great goal to combat climate change. Paula’s motto is “communication is actions” and significant actions can be found at Q Power.
In her free time, Paula enjoys improvisational theater, acrylic painting and making all kinds of art according to her mood. In addition, you can find her on the sidelines of the floorball or the hockey rink keeping records, because children’s hobbies also inspire parents to get involved.

Anni is our director of R&D. Anni has about two decades of experience as a research scientist at the Natural Resources Institute Finland. During her time at the Institute, Anni worked hands-on on the development of Q Power technologies.
A PhD, Anni’s doctoral dissertation was related to the fractioning of nutrients contained in slurry.
Anni was born into a family of entrepreneurs, growing with a strong drive to develop things. In her free-time, Anni likes to enjoy nature with her family. When she finds the time, she also enjoys playing the piano.

Marko is technical director at Q Power. Marko has a background in the academic world, more specifically at the Natural Resources Institute Finland. For years before the founding of Q Power, Marko had been researching the core biological processes of our current technologies as well as designing and building the first test reactors, automation and other hardware to utilize the developed processes.
In his free-time, Marko enjoys spending time with his family. The rest of his family and friends are also a highly important part of life for Marko. Marko likes to unwind by renovating old buildings, tweaking old cars and other machines, working on the land and wandering in nature. Marko is excited about the prospect of a radical breakthrough of new, sustainable energy technologies and has happily noted the public sentiment toward new energy solutions becoming more favorable.

Petri is our Head of Sourcing. Petri’s background is in logistics and maritime activities, and he has been involved in international renewable energy business and projects for the last decade. Petri spends his free time in the archipelago enjoying philosophical literature and outdoor activities.

Sara is responsible for the Technical Solution Sales for Q Power. Her tasks are related to both the technical and commercial side of the business where she collaborates closely with customers and colleagues. She has a master’s degree in chemical engineering, and she is determined to advance the green transition and sustainability. With Q Power’s top-ranking technology, she has the possibility to help our customers reach their carbon neutrality targets.
During her free time, Sara likes to spend time with her friends and family either at home or at their summer cottage in the archipelago. Also, she enjoys choosing between a variety of sports: dancing, sailing, skiing, riding, CrossFit, padel, and so on. If she would have extra time, she would do DIY projects and other crafts like knitting and sewing.

Risto is a key person working on our biological processes and Q Power R&D. Risto has almost 40 years of experience working at the Agricultural Research Center and Natural Resources Institute of Finland. Over the years, he has participated in numerous projects and research initiatives.
Risto keeps busy in his free-time by working on various tasks of his home farm. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, wife and numerous pets. Risto is an enthusiastic photographer, especially enjoying theatre photography, and one of his dreams is to get hold of an old field camera.
Peter is in charge of many crucial planning aspects of the Q Power offering – he regularly does mechanical and plant design as well as electrical design work. While Peter is an electrical engineer by training, in his career thus far he has primarily done mechanical design work.
In his spare time, Peter is a part-time farmer and also engages in forest maintenance work. Peter is an active hunter and likes to take part in various different sports. Currently this number one athletic activity is Tae kwon do, in addition to which he enjoys running, golf and downhill skiing.
Tuomo works at Q Power as a Project Manager. He is for his part responsible for the high-quality and on schedule execution of customer projects. Tuomo has several years of experience in process design in different industrial plant projects. In addition, he has worked as a consultant in environmental technology and bioenergy industries. At Q Power Tuomo is excited about the opportunity to advance the utilization, growth and development of new sustainable energy technology solutions.
In his free time Tuomo is an enthusiastic partner/social dancer. This hobby he shares with his spouse. Tuomo likes to spend time with his spouse, friends and family. In addition, he likes to do renovation work at home and different outdoor activities. To relax Tuomo likes to watch good movies and TV-series.
